It's where buying your votes is actually legal - and encouraged! The Campaign runs from the 4th of July until Heritage Day, alsways the 2nd Saturday in October. October 10th, 2015 this year. The Candidate with the most "votes" is the new Honorary Mayor of Beaverdam, and is celebrated by the community at the Honorary Mayor's Ball, held at the Beaverdam Depot. The Brewitans are proud to endorse - local Girl - Beaverdam's own Rickie Hall Smith as the next Honorary Mayor of Beaverdam.
